Visit
www.kidSOS.nl. Please enter your email address and mobile phone number at the “Do you have a kidSOS wristband?” section. Tick the General Terms box and activate your account. You will immediately receive your PIN by email. Go back to the kidSOS website (upper left corner) and login and continue by filling out your child's details.
I did not receive the email confirmation of my activation.
Check if the email went into your spambox, if not, try to create a new account by entering your mobile number and email adres. If your account already exist you will receive an error. Please click then on the 'forgot my PIN' link. If you still don't receive your PIN please send us an email to
info@kidsos.nl.
What is a kidSOS ID?
The kidSOS ID is the unique 8-digit code on the wristband or the garment sticker. By filling out your contact details, you connect the kidSOS ID to your phone number(s) and email address.
It is hard to slide the wristband's ring over the strap. Is that ok?
The first time you use the wristband, it could possibly be difficult to slide the plastic ring over the strap. However, this prevents that your child can easily open the wristband. In case of emergency, any adult can easily remove the wristband.
Can I also change my details while being abroad?

I want to order an extra wristband or sticker
Every kidSOS product (wristband and sticker) is attached to a subscription. You can add each kidSOS product to your kidSOS account. Here, all your kidSOS stickers and labels are conveniently arranged. Do you want to order extra products? Please click

Are the wristbands for individual use only?
The kidSOS wristbands and stickers are connected to the (contact) details that you provide. You can always change these details and use the kidSOS product for a different child, for free!.

Of course redDog gives you a discount when you order multiple products. If you order your products online, redDog will charge € 1,45 for post and packaging.
What is a kidSOS membership?
With every kidSOS wristband or sticker you get a free one year membership. This membership will automatically expire after one year and you will be notified to make sure that you can renew your membership in time. You can renew your membership for just € 5,- per kidSOS product per year.
I want to cancel my kidSOS membership
By removing the kidSOS ID from your account (by clicking the red cross next to the relevant kidSOS ID) you remove all relevant information attached to the kidSOS product. The membership however, will still continue until the expiration date. You can reactivate the kidSOS product at any given time by again adding the relevant kidSOS ID to your account. Do you want to terminate your kidSOS membership permanently? Send an email to info@kidsos.nl.
How do I renew my membership?
Soon you can easily renew your kidSOS memebership by logging into your account and click on the 'renew' button. You can find this link next to the expiration date of your current membership. You can renew your membership for only € 5,- per kidSOS wristband per year.

I found a kidSOS product lying on the street, what do I do now?
If you have found a kidSOS wristband on the street, the best thing you can do is call the kidSOS phone number on the product. If the kidSOS product has been registered, you will automatically be connected to the parents concerned.
Can I test kidSOS myself?
Of course you can test kidSOS yourself. This is great way to be sure that the contact information that your provided is valid. The service number is a 088-number, which means that the calling costs are the same for calling a (Dutch) landline. If you call from abroad, international charges apply. If you want to test kidSOS, The best way to test is to use a phone number that you have not listed in your account, because in some cases, it is not possible to connect your call to the phone number you are calling from.
Do I have to wait for the wristband before I can register my details?
Yes. In order to activate your wristband you will have to register the unique 8-digit code in your kidSOS account. After connecting your contact information to the kidSOS ID, your product is ready for use.
Is it obligatory to publish my holiday and personal details online?
No. You can choose which information you want to fill out and publish online for possible finders. Publishing your holiday address can be useful if you will not be within reach by phone all the time. Beach guards or local authorities for example can find your information online at www.kidSOS.nl with the necessary 8-digit code if you choose to publish this information. They can bring back your child to your residence or hotel, even before you have noticed.
Wat does kidSOS do with my personal information?
Nothing. The information that you provide will only be used to make sure that you and your child are back together as soon as possible, in the case that you lost sight of each other for a moment.
How do I attach the sticker?
Set the iron between position 2 and 3 dots (linen). The sticker exists of two foils. The top foil is intended to protect the imprint of the sticker during the ironing. Remove the bottom foil (the adhesive side) and place the sticker on the preferred position of the jacket. Now place a piece of paper over the sticker to protect the material of the jacket against the iron and heat the sticker with some pressure for about 20 seconds. The heat mixes the glue with the jacket. Let it cool off for about one minute. Now take the top foil off. If the edges of the sticker get detached easily then the procedure should be performed again with the iron on the highest temperature and again with a piece of paper to protect the sticker. Do not touch the sticker directly with the iron in any case. The sticker should now firmly be attached.
Does the sticker stick to any kind of garment?
The sticker can ben used on: Cotton, polyester, poly-cotton, soft shell, flexotane, Gore-Tex, dryflo, fleece. The sticker is unfit for coated materials.
Attachment of the kidSOS sticker is at one's own risk! kidSOS is not responsible for damage to garments.
Is the sticker washable/ can I put it in the washing machine?
The sticker is washable up to a maximum of 40° C.
